My husband is a commercial helicopter pilot. In 2004 he was experiencing such severe lower back pain that he was out of work for almost two months. An orthopedic surgeon diagnosed him with some fairly typical arthritic changes in his lower spine. But the surgeon wasn't sure if that was what was causing his acute pain. He explained some surgical options but didn't give us any solid expectations regarding probable outcomes. It might relieve the pain, it might not.

A friend at work mentioned that he had been completely debilitated with back pain a few years earlier, and that Dr. Batson had really helped him. Despite being a naturally skeptical ex-military officer, my husband decided to give Dr. Batson a try.

Much to his delight and amazement, after just a few visits, he was completely pain free! Now he sees Dr. Batson only a few times per year. He also takes glucosamine and chondoitrin, following Dr. Batson's advice. The results have been truly amazing.

After seeing his remarkable recovery, I went to see Dr. Batson for a chronic shoulder problem. It used to flare up whenever I experienced any kind of stress and would last for weeks. After being treated by Dr. Batson, it hardly ever flares up anymore. When it does, I come in for a quick visit, and he nips it in the bud so I no longer suffer at length.

Recently I experienced a lower back/hip sprain that was so excruciating I couldn't get a decent night's rest and was barely able to move without severe pain. Everything I tried to do was painful. My doctor gave me some pain medication so I could function, but as soon as it wore off the pain would return. A physical therapist suggested that at my large size, I probably had permanent disc damage in my lower spine that I would have to deal with for the rest of my life. Dr. Batson disagreed. He thought it was a simple sprain that would heal itself with a little help. I started coming two or three times a week for a month. I am thrilled to report that after a few weeks of TENS, hot/cold treatments, adjustments and massage, I too, am completely pain free and off of the pain medication.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the excellent treatment we have had at Batson Chiropractic. The staff is fantastic. Everyone makes you feel like a member of the family. They truly care about the well-being of every patient, and will go above and beyond to help your body heal itself.

After suffering with horrible headaches for as long as I can remember, I took a friend’s advice and made an appointment with her Chiropractor. My headaches had become more frequent and more intense the older I got.

I had never seen a chiropractor before and to be honest, never really understood what they did; but I was desperate and nothing was working to alleviate my pain. My first visit with Dr. Sweeney and his team at Batson Chiropractic went very well. After running some tests and x-rays, he immediately found the problem and did an adjustment the very first visit!

I thought maybe my headaches would lessen or become less intense – but much to my delight, after my first adjustment I was headache free! That was over 3 months ago and I have not had a headache since.
